Outdoor central office cabinets allow ISPs to significantly reduce infrastructure and operational costs. By deploying OLT systems in a single outdoor box instead of renting physical space, providers avoid high rental fees and overhead while accelerating network rollout. Cost-Effective FTTh Central Office Solution
As Argedit Telecommunication, we offer flexible solutions based on FTTH architecture with outdoor cabinets that can be configured according to customer needs.
- All exterior surfaces are double-walled with glass wool insulation in between to provide protection against solar radiation.
- Exterior surfaces are manufactured from galvanized or aluminum sheet metal and coated with electrostatic powder paint.
- Roof fans or, optionally, door-type fan coils can be used as the cooling system.
- For protection against vandalism, three-point locking is implemented, and padlocks can be added in addition to the handle locks.

The right side of the cabinet houses the main fuse box (NH00 disconnector) and the utility meter compartment. The interior right section contains low-voltage control units, rectifiers, and UPS battery strings. The interior left 19” rack section accommodates OLTs, Opengear devices, and fiber optic distribution panels.
