Overview
The Riser Cable Terminal is a specialized solution engineered for fiber retrofit/conversion projects in high-density multi-dwelling units (MDUs). The riser cable, containing 900 µm buffered fibers depending on its capacity, is deployed from the basement distribution box to the top floor of the building. This terminal is designed to facilitate the breakout and termination of riser fibers at each floor according to the number of apartments.

The dual-cover architecture segregates the riser cable entry from the subscriber drop cable termination points. It offers the flexibility to choose the most efficient termination method based on your equipment and labor resources. Supports multiple variations including mechanical fast-connectors, direct fusion splicing, or mechanical splicing.
The unit mounts directly over the riser cable, effectively concealing the mid-span stripping/window-cutting area. Integrated fiber routing guides and dedicated splice holders transform installation and operation into a reliable, standardized process.
